This overgrown, jungle-like garden was hiding an unwelcome resident for one property investor.

Unfortunately, work on clearing the overgrown garden had already commenced and the new owner was planning to renovate the house in order to sell. The garden clearance works revealed large stands of Japanese knotweed and the owner decided it would need to be fully excavated. Our knotweed survey provides a report and drawings showing the extent of the contaminated ground. The survey also shows the RICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) property risk category and notes the visible signs of damage caused by the knotweed to the buildings, structures and hard paving.
